making the world a better place - either through ethcial standards, greener practices, or

This list is hardly definitive. A wide array of organizations exist that focus on an equally wide list of issues. As time goes by, this list published here will grow. Organizations that Protect the Environment Nature has always been important to me. Unfortunately, I don't always have as much time to spend enjoying and/or protecting nature as I would like. Fortunately, the following groups do a fine job for all of us. The following organizations strive to protect the animals and give a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves: The Maryland SPCA People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals The Green Party In our political lives in Baltimore, across the nation, and around the world, we have alternatives to the usual two parties that seem to control everything. Check out the list on the "register to vote" page for a few possibilities. One local possibility, here in Baltimore, is the Green Party.
