About the Scarborough Affair Over the last 4 decades, Simon and Garfunkel's music has proven to be a benchmark in American music history, reaching international audiences across the pop, rock, and folk music genres. For S&G fans, the music has timeless and inspirational qualities. You can hear their influence in the work of the world's best songwriters; however, unlike S&G's contemporaries, such as the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and others, S&G's folk pop hits from the 60s and 70s are suspiciously absent from radio playlists. And so, their mammoth catalog of work is somewhat forgotten. In the spirit of sharing Simon & Garfunkel's music with new and familiar audiences, The Scarborough Affair (Drew Vervan and Kristin Putchinski, singer/songwriters from Baltimore, MD, USA), has developed a performance dedicated to showcasing the simple beauty of harmony and lyricism inherent in S&G's music. In their performance setlist, you will hear familiar S&G favorites such as, "Homeward Bound," "The Boxer," "Bridge over Troubled Water," and "59th Street Bridge (Feelin' Groovy)," as well as lesser-known gems such as "Big Bright Green Pleasure Machine," and "Flowers Never Bend With the Rainfall."
